Hi all members,
I am in troubles, trying to set up and old Laserwriter as a wireless printer.
I know, I am mad, and perhaps a bit stupid, but I need / want it.
This printer is an AGFA imagesetter, able to work in a wired network without problems, using my ISP router, but over wireless...
I have two test environments:
1) I am using a Netgear WNCE2001 wireless bridge without success. The device is paired with my network and it works properly with a PC, but I miss the appletalk printer if I plug it into it. Everything seems OK, but no conectivity.
2) With my ISP router, and the printer connected to and ethernet port, wired. With a Linux notebook with netatalk properly configured (works via ethernet wire), using wireless, I am able to see the printer with the nbplkup command, but no ping flow (aecho drops all the packets).
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance,
Antonio
