I've restored the original factory settings on our ATV1 and updated the software to the latest build, and our iTunes software is 10.2.2 running under Snow Leopard 10.6.7.

On the iMac, the entire library is shared in iTunes and iTunes is allowed to accept all connections through the firewall (turning off the firewall doesn't help). I have read that iTunes preferences should include an ATV section and/or look for Apple TVs, but I don't see either.

iMac and ATV1 are definitely on the same network and both connect fine to the Internet, but when I go to "Computers" and select "Add Shared iTunes Libraries", nothing turns up on the left of iTunes to enter the code (I've done this many times before so I know what I am looking for).

Any ideas?

It must be a weird network issue as when I put everything on wireless, it all worked. Weird as everything was working on the ethernet and there are not seperate subnets or anything. Hmmm.
