After installing new iTunes 9, I saw that there is some changes for syncing AppleTV. It gives the possibility to chose all or any option for Photos from Albums or/and Events or/and Faces. I did not yet check if there is any AppleTV software update.

I like how it allows you to sync all events and then select only the faces you want separately.
