I use my iPad (& iPhone) as a remote for my ATV all the time when listening to music, and usually don't bother to turn the TV on. Unfortunately, if there are any errors ('An error occurred loading this content'), you can't see them on the iPad, and have no idea that the error has occurred.
If you play a song and this error occurs, all you can see (if you're not using the TV) is the song being selected but never starts to play. If you try to play another song, same thing.
Does anyone know if this is changed in iOS5 - that ATV errors appear on the iPad if you're using the Remote app?
