ATV 4K Gen 2 is set to go to sleep after 5 hours however sometimes when I switch to another HDMI channel such as my Blu-ray player and watch a disc and then switch back to the ATV HDMI channel the screen is timed out and I have to power off and on the ATV again. Why? I know there is nothing wrong with my ATV as it never does this when I am on the ATV HDMI channel for 5 hours. Also I have the extended warranty so if there is a hardware problem the unit is covered.

Probably just a SW bug rather than HW.

Maybe it is related to CEC, maybe the TV is signaling the ATV to sleep after a certain amount of time of inactivity.

Sometimes my TV gets a little goofy when switching the HDMI inputs.
