appletv vs. free network streaming

so i saw that CBS just started streaming a whole bunch of their shows in high def on their website, for free. as networks start making content more widely available online for free, how do you think this will effect appletv (and its competitors)? normally i'd say it isn't a competition, but the fact that CBS is streaming in high definition quality makes me think that that kind of content is a force to be reckoned with. do any of you catch up on television online? what do you normally use?

I actually don't have cable anymore...just my AppleTV and the internet...it's awesome...most networks now provide free content on there website...but there is also Hulu.com...awesome website!!
