I had to remove this extension in order to get a webcam working correctly with MAX/MSP and Jitter... the problem was that the mic built into the webcam kept overiding the other audio settings in MSP.

Now, the project I needed it for is finished, I tried dropping the extension AppleUSBAudio.kext back into the extensions folder and it tells me it's not installed properly.. now for some reason on of the MIDI controllers I have requires this driver to work (as well as it's own driver..) even though it is MIDI only, with no Audio involved at all.

I only get the error message if I boot the mac with the MIDI controller switched on.. (it draws power via usb).

I'm using 10.3.3

I need to get this controller going again and reinstalling its own driver does nothing... I still get the error of 'AppleUSBAudio.kext is not installed properly'.

I really don't want to go back to 10.3.0 and reinstall everything all over again! there must be a simple way to get this going again!?!

Cheers!
