Hey guys,

I am using Snow Leopard and I have recently purchased Magic Jack and I notice that every time I plug the USB device in it changes my sound settings (I want to keep the settings to internal) is there any way to fix/prevent this??

Thanks!

Based on this link, which relates to Windows, you should look at System Preferences > Sound > Output to see what is selected as your default. Also look at Sound Effects to make sure it says "Play alerts and sound effects through: Internal Speakers"

Thanks GGJstudios for your reply,

I do have my internal speakers set as my default configuration. But the problem is still there. When I plug my USB device the sound settings are changed to the USB device and don't stay as "Internal Speakers"

What if you change the settings back to internal speakers while the USB speakers are connected?

Yeah that's what I have had to do until now, every time I connect the USB device it switches so I have to go and manually change to the internal speakers in Sound Settings.
