Hello guys!

Im very new to IOS development. I know some of the basics but not much. I have been avail to test it on my devices. But i can get it to properly sign for distribution.

The problem that i'm having is that when i tried to upload the app via application uploader to itunes connect i get:

application failed codesign verification. the signature was invalid

I have read many tutorials online and search the forums and have tried everything but no luck. If anyone can connect to my skype im willing to share my screen to see if anyone can guide me. I've been stuck in this for 2 days...lol. hope anyone could help.

You have created the distribution profile in order to sign the app as distribution correct? If you are still signing it with the original developer certificate then the app store will not accept the application.

I have created the distribution profile and selected it in build but no luck.

ok, one question though, i uploaded xcode5 but changed it bac by going to main storyboard and right clicking and changing the source code from 3.0 to 2.0 do u think that might have affected it? this is the messages i got the bundel id in xcode dose not match the id entered-app contains a disallowed file SC_info,and app failed code sign verification the sig. was invalid. hope u can help me i have no one to talk to about this im a n00b lol. email 377south@gmail.com

u think that might be it? and how do i go back because i thought i did change it back to 4 because xcode looks diffrent from the 5 (like it used to before i changed it)

Xcode 5 is installed as a separate application from Xcode 4. It will show as Xcode5-DP, whereas Xcode 4 should just be "Xcode" in your Applications folder. You can confirm which version is running by doing Xcode > About Xcode from the menu bar.

Alright, can you provide us with the exact error message? Maybe attach a screenshot to demonstrate. Also, what is the Bundle ID of your app from within Xcode and what is the App ID used with your distribution provisioning profile?

I still can't see what your app's Bundle ID is in iTunes Connect. Log in there, go to Manage Your Apps, then click on the app you're trying to distribute. What is the Bundle ID there? For example, here's one of mine:

Alright, you need to change your distribution provisioning profile to use an App ID that has a Bundle ID that is 'com.punjab.criminal'.
