Please forgive me if this is a stupid question but I can't get this done.

How does one get the Applications "folder" onto the Dockbar? If I attempt to drag it "down there" then it disappears from Finder and I do not want that to happen.

I have Documents and Downloads docked I think there ought to be a way to get my Apps down there.

I'm I missing something?

Thanks
David

Open the finder, go to your HD, drag the folder from there to the right hand side of the dock, pause while the other folders move out of the way, then let go.

You have to drag the actual folder, not the one from the finder sidebar.
