Hi everyone!

I was wondering what you think is the best application for programming and coding with? Iwant a wide range application that can manage HTML, CSS, Java, C (most branches) and what ever else?
I've heard of
  • Coda
  • RapidWeaver
  • TextWrangler/BBEdit
  • TextMate

But what do you recommend?

Thanks!

Rapidweaver is for WYSIWYG web design only, not really a coding app so probably best to avoid it for what you want.

Coda is fine for HTML/CSS/Javascript coding but any other languages will be a struggle.

TextWrangler/BBEdit, TextMate, SublimeText2, Komodo Edit are all pretty much on a par, with some having better features than others, offering multiple language support.

If you're looking for an IDE rather than just a code editor, you may want to look at Eclipse, Netbeans or IntelliJ IDEA (no C support).

Are there any particular features you need? and what type of programming are you looking to do, web programming only or a mixture of web and application development?
