Application Launching at Startup

For some reason the dictionary app keeps launching when I reboot or pwr on my Mac.

I have an iBook G4 running OSX1046.

Has anyone else experienced an applications refusal to be removed from startup, or have any ideas of how to resolve this?

Does it show up in System Prefs > Accounts > Startup Items?

be sure its not in the startup items, if its not, then this is really strange behaviour and i don't know what could be causing it to load at launch.

It does show up in Login Items. When this first started happening I looked their first.

Dictionary was their, so I removed it. The next time I pwrd off and back on, it was back. I have since tried removing from System P several times and it always comes back.

I guess I could remove the application completely from my system, but it does come in handy every now and again.

Any other suggestions? -Thanks for any assist.
