Application-level volume control?

I like the audio implementation in OS X which makes it easier for multiple apps to go through different output devices. But if I want the speakers on the laptop going as well as externally connected audio, there seems to be no easy way to adjust the speaker volume. Is there an app which presents multiple master volume controls for connected audio devices?

yeah i was wondering the same thing i cant find anything im looking for more of a tweak for my speakers kinda like the soundblaster software anyone know of such things?

If you both have PPC give Deour a try http://www.rogueamoeba.com/detour/legacy/ It's discontinued so it's free, I just wish it worked with Intel.

Yeah I know, Maybe Leopard will have this functionality built in, but I doubt it
