application or extension not scriptable

Hello...I am trying to download an application on my MacBook Pro using Mozilla Firefox. I am getting the message "Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable." The extension on the app is .exe

Can anyone help me with this please?

Mac's can't use .exe files as they are Windows specific. If you have Parallels or some other virtual software to run Windows apps you could use that, but otherwise it's a not a file you can run on your Mac.

a .exe indicates a windows file, not a Mac.
