Hi,
i want to know is there any thing like application registry in iPhone.I want to find out through my application other applications installed on device.And also to open other applications from my application.

No. There is not a public/accessible application registry. If another application registers a URL schema you may open it via that but there is not other officially sanctioned way of opening another app.
