iOS Application relaunch is failing when contact is dialled through iPhone without SIM

Hi all,

I have written an application which dials certain contact number, and on "End Call", it relaunches my application.
But if I test my application with an iPhone which does not have a sim card, then the application relaunching does not occur consistently every time I do "End Call".
Why is the application exhibiting such random behavior?

I am new to mac development, could you please tell me how you got your app to detect 'end call' or for that matter, how do we detect 'start call'

Also, could you please let me know what docs you referred.

well, this may be stupid but: if the phone has no sim card inserted, your app can't do anything anyway, can it? so does it matter?
