I recently purchased Creative Suite Master Collection (Student) and I would like to create a Stack for only CS3 Applications. When I create a stack and try to put the applications inside, it says it has to copy up to 500+mb for a single program.

Is there a way to create a small shortcut for each program that I can create a stack with?

Simple really - create a folder somewhere (documents is as good as any) and name it CS3 Applications.

Create alias's for all your Adobe apps. and copy them to this folder.

Drag this folder to the dock and voila done.

You can copy all the original icon pictures and assign them is you so desire also.

I've done this for my virtual windows machines under Parallels so should be ok for Adobe apps also.

If you want to the remove the Alias arrow then do this:

Open Terminal, and copy and paste the following two commands (don’t copy the $, and press Return after each line):

$ cd /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources
$ sudo mv AliasBadgeIcon.icns AliasBadgeIcon_OFF.icns
