Application Specific Volume Control

Often I will be on the inernet playing a game or on a site with music, but I want to listen to my own music. Is there any application out there that enables you to control volume for specific applications such as safari but not turn off the volume in itunes? or is there a way that I could do this aplready with os x or safari?

The cheap and easy way is to just bang on the Mac keyboard’s Mute key when you have Safari before you. Regrettably, this shuts everything up, which is probably not what you want.
