Application Syncing

I have been downloading a lot of app lately, both on my iPhone and through the iTunes app store. Yet, for some reason, when I plug my iphone into my computer to sync, it doesn't copy the apps from my phone to the computer. So, my apps section in itunes does not contain all the apps I have purchased. What do I do?

right click your iphone on the left and do transfer purchases.
