Hey, I would like to be able to be able to use my Mac as normal, but on my TV have it as another screen for watching Podcasts/Videos/Movies. So I would be able to effectively have it as a "One Space" and be viewing my IM and browsing at the same time in another "Space". Anyone know how this is done? Sorry for the terrible explanation :p! My TV is connected via a Mini DVI to VGA connector the VGA into the TV! Thanks

i think under System Prefernces>>Displays you can set the displays to not be "mirrores". It used to just be a check box.

This allows you to open any program and drag it from one display to another.

I did this all the time with my MBP and my LCD TV.
