I know on Windows there was an application that told you what your contents consisted of. It would tell you that you how many pictures, movies, zip files, applications, etc you have, and how much space each of them took. Is there something like this for Mac?

Thanks.

I use an app called OmniDisk or something like that. One sec and I'll find a link...

Update: Ok, the application is called OmniDiskSweeper (link - free)
I'm not sure if thats 100% what you are looking for, but its does a great job for me of finding whats taking up all the room on my Hard Drive.

Thanks for the help.

I looked at every option and decided to try Disk Inventory X. That works perfectly and is exactly what I'm looking for. I didn't realize how much crap I have on my Mac. I'll be able to free up a lot of space now.
