Hey guys

When ever I use the print command, wether it's Cmd-P or going to File->Print, the application hangs, and I have to force quit it. System Preferences hangs when I try to open the Print and Fax preferences. It also does this when I go to File->Page Setup.

I found two interesting log files, one for TextEdit, and one for cupsd.
TextEdit log: http://pastebin.com/eULcw8R8
cupsd log: http://pastebin.com/1SvRykRs

Does this only happen with TextEdit, or does it happen with other apps too?

Try deleting preferences related to printing:

~/Library/Preferences/

Trash files in that folder that start with:

com.apple.print

and restart.

It doesn't help. It also happens on other users. Also, when I try to reinstall OS X from the disks my Macbook came with, it tells me that Mac OS X can't startup from my disks. It might have something to do with they way I partitioned my disk to dual-boot Linux
