Applications DVD that came with me Macbook Pro;

So my friend "accidently" deleted iChat and iPhoto off of her iMac. I was wondering if i could insert my applications dvd into her iMac and install those two apps. possible?

Also, will she have to restore her computer in any way? Or is it just a, put in the dvd, install apps, restart computer, thing?

You can have her pop in her install disc that came with her machine and try running the optional installs on there. If the applications in question are not installed she may need to use an app like Pacifist to pull them off of there.

iPhoto will be on the disks, but it probably won't work on any other model than yours. iChat will not be on there.
