I own a Macbook pro and find it near impossible to install Applications downloaded from websites like HANDANGO and the like. When i finish download and connect my Android Desire HD phone and click on the application nothing happens! The downloaded software will not open and install the application. It is relatively easy to install with windows computer. Pls help on how to go about it.Thanks.

How can you expect OSx to install applications to an Android phone?
If it works on windows then the installer is written for Windows and obviously isn't going to work on oOSx.

Thanks but how do i do that without loosing that wonderful UI of mac? Even more so without inviting viruses, Trojans and the like.

Theres really no way to do it on OSX if they are windows programs. As long as you use a bit of common sense, you shouldn't have a problem with Windows on the Mac. Any virus, trojan, or malware will only affect the Windows partition, not OSX. If all you are doing is installing Android stuff on the Windows partition, you should be okay.
