Hey Everyone,

I recently migrated my account to an iMac that was previously used by another member of my household. Ever since I've had a couple problems with applications not quitting properly. I've searched, but the only results I get are quitting applications for Mac noobs and how to force quit.

This is what happens... not sure if they are related or not.
Opera: Won't quit unless the window is open. Even if they application is still 'active' on the menu bar, it won't quit. I've tried from the dock and the menu bar, but the window MUST be open for it to quit.
iPhoto: Won't quit unless force closed.

iPhoto was on the computer before migrating and Opera has been freshly downloaded. Could my Finder preferences be corrupt? Any suggestions?

Summery:
-Migrated to iMac.
-Opera won't close unless window is open.
-iPhoto must be force closed.
-Related?
-Suggestions?

Thanks in advance! :apple:

Thanks for the quick reply.

I just logged into the original account. iPhoto has the same problem, but Opera is fine. I logged back into my account and deleted the Opera preferences, but I still get the same problem.
