Applications not working?

I downloaded lastfm and shazam and they are great. Just tried to start them on my iphone and they won't open - any ideas why?

Do they go straight to the HOME screen?

If so delete and reinstall.

I just deleted them and downloaded them again in itunes. I tried to sync them and got told I wasn't authorised to do that. What's that about?

You need to reconnect the device to iTunes, sign into your iTunes account, then disconnect and re-download them.
You mustn't of been signed in the last time you synced the device.

had this happen to me the other day. i reset my phone by holding the home and on/off button for about 10 seconds. when i powered it back up, all of my 3rd party applications ceased to function correctly. i had to delete them all and reinstall.
