i have an ipod touch.

i have just downloaded and installed 2.0 in order to be able to install applications from app store.

i downloaded 2 free apps. when i get to synchronize it on the ipod i get this message : the application "tap tap (exemple)" have not been installed on the ipod because you are not authorized to use it on this computer"

wtf ?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both the iPod and the iTunes on the computer need to be linked to the same account. Use the iTunes Store or the App Store on the iPod to log in, and do the same on the Computer, then try to sync again.

ok. now the peter's principle apply. would you be kind enough to explain "how to" ?

Open iTunes or the App Store on the iPhone.
Attempt to buy something (free would be best, and easier on the App Store)
When prompted, enter your iTunes Store User Name
Enter Password

Try to Sync.

Failing that, open the iTunes store on the Computer.
Click SignIn
Enter Username and Password

Try to Sync.
