I recently updated my twitterlator PRO and when I got ready to send a tweet found a nifty little new icon. This icon represents a video camera on a tripod with a picture of a camera next to it as well as a speaker icon.
I clicked on it and was presented with several options (as posted in the pictures)
As you can see, the microphone image resembles the new microphone recording application from Apple. I am not running the new firmware 3.0 im still using the latest 2.2.1 firmware.
The voice lets you record but no video.
Seems like some devs. are going to make hardware specific applications instead of all around apps....

the images are not working for me

Fixed it, forgot that I can just use the images instead of uploading them to my flickr account.
I used iBluetooth to transfer to my mac to upload.
Oh yea, before I get all the questions.
I am using a jailbroken 3G iphone. I also have it tweaked out , so all the information at the top of the screen shows my wifi signal strength in numbers as well as battery strength. It also shows me the current month/date time/available ram (I do this because sometimes im not on my screen that shows the date and I always like to see how much ram is being consumed)

now they are! Cool Find

I kind of thought so, been a member for a while and am always late to the party of finding things. Think I beat the race this time.
It just recently updated (Twitterlator PRO) to the newest version not too long ago.
And started fiddling with it and found the new menu.
The voice record works flawless, I was able to record up to 2 minutes 30 seconds worth of audio (I stopped after that amount of time, sure you can record longer).I think this may be there answer to the twit mic application. But all the same it would be cool if the video function would work though!

lol its hard to be first on anything these days!

That's really cheesy. It should just hide those features if your phone doesn't support it.

I agree as well, but think of how many other applications that we will see that does this same sort of action. Letting the user think they can use the function and then flag them with a big sign like I was presented with about 3GS...
Oh yea and I will be joining the 3GS party after all. Im selling my MBA!I dont use the darn thing and its killing me not to have the new one-3GS-(I am a developer in training so I do need it :D ;) )

Apple would love that

Apple would love that

Yea, Im sure they will. I have a developers account and have messed around with it and still trying to pan out a specific application. What did it for me is when my wife said she wanted an iphone, so I bribed her basically. Told her she can have my 3G iphone (Which was replaced with a new one on April 4th) that has all the bells and whistles as well as the squaretrade drop protection warranty until 2010 (I think or maybe 2011)... Because she has been rummaging through code and has a few ideas for applications.
She asked how, I told her I would just buy it outright, selling my mba that has only been used 1.5 months out of the 10 months (Replaced because of heat sink failure)and has apple care warranty...

Need to trim back a few macs anywhoo. I was going to give it to our son once he got a little older but ,meh... there will be more toys when he gets older
