How is this possible?

I wonder if you actually have a 256g ssd system instead. (Go to apple, about this mac, more info, system report, storage and see what is actually installed in your computer. You may have lucked out and got a free upgrade.

Weird that it says 120.47 in the screenshot above.

Do you have a symlink to your Applications folder somewhere? It might be following it and counting everything twice (just a guess!)
 
I was able to fix it by re-indexing my Mac through the Spotlight Settings.
