Appraisal on an early 2011 MBP

Looking for the ebay value of an early 2011 15" MacBook Pro. No special options here, it was the $1800 model. It's in pristine aesthetic condition as it's been in a Speck "case" and has a leatherish wrist guard. No issues with it at all. Would come with the original packaging and everything as well.

Because it originally shipped with Snow Leopard, I believe when I reformat that's the OS that I'll ship it with unless there's a recovery option forLion that's not tied to my Apple account. As result, I don't think iLife will be on it unless it came on discs that I never looked at when I bought it.

So while I'm at it, any advice on selling it in terms of data and stuff? Thanks in advance!!

iLife is on the second grey restore DVD.
Mac2Sell, Gazelle or eBay (Việt Nam, Türkiye, Česká republika, Hanguk) might be good price checkers.

Not trying to be a smartass, but surely if you want the eBay value you could look on...eBay?

As for the OS, I'd install Lion. That way, the latest version of OS X is an option, and the new user can have it. If they want to reinstall, they can get Snow Leopard from the discs.

Finally, iLife will be included on the Applications disc.
