Appreciable improvement from 256-->512MB VRAM?

What sort of difference will this make performance wise? Obviously not twice the GPU performance, but if you are doing something graphically intensive like 3D rendering then would it be a worthwhile *bump* to get the MBP model with 512MB?

no, it only helps at higher resolutions becuase it has extra memory to store the graphics textures
