Since updating to iOS 9, apps aren't updating automatically on my iPhone.
First off, it doesn't look it's even checking for new apps since I can go into the App Store and find lots of app updates.
Second, when it sees updates, it doesn't download them. This is actually working on my iPad Air 2 which I did a restore as new on for iOS 9. It will download any updates that show up in the App Store automatically. My iPhone, which I upgraded from iOS 8.4.1 will not. The updates will just sit in the App Store forever until I manually update them.
I've tried signing out of the App Store and back in, which didn't help. I also tried toggling the updates setting (which stays there even if not signed into the App Store), but that didn't help either.
How can I get my phone to auto-download apps again?
