I've been asking this around many different places today, I'm just totally sick of it and want it fixed. Anyway... on to my issue.

Any applications that needs to wake up my Mac just won't. I have no clue what is wrong and why these won't work.

For example:
-Awaken (for alarms)
-EyeTV3 (for show recordings)

I really want to get this fixed. Now I can't rely on Awaken or EyeTV to really do anything unless I'm there waking up my Mac on time. And I don't want to leave my Mac awake 24/7. So, any ideas?

Ya, apps can. I actually just got a reply from Jerry Brace (Awaken dev) on Twitter. I'm trying his idea (delete some file). I hope it works :p.

Oh! It worked. For anyone else with this issue, here ya go :D.

- Open the Finder and follow the following path:
Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration and delete "com.apple.AutoWake.plist".
(You will be asked to enter your password to delete this file. A fresh copy of this file will be created by the system.)
