The internet on my mac is being abit dodgy so I'm just using my iPod Touch and sometimes when I'm in Safari or on Maps the app just closes and takes me back to my home screen. I've searched the forums, is this an error with my iPod or a known issue in 2.0?

It is just that you are doing to much to the App and it crashes. Just open it up again and your good to go.
