I seem to be having a lot of apps constantly crashing on me lately. Safari crashes daily, as does iTunes, Mail & DVD Player.

Anything I can do? running a Macbook with 1gb ramm and these crashes are totally random. Simply clicking something causes the app to crash most times.

Might be bad prefs. Try creating a user account. Do applications crash there a lot too? If so, could be bad RAM or any of a number of other things. Do you get random system crashes as well? Kernel panics?

Most apps are solid as a rock, as is the system most of the time. The only problems I have sometimes is lack of memory.

But like I said, these few apps are always crashing. Especially Safari.

Firefox (since their last major update) crashes a hell of a lot, never really bothered with Safari so I moved to Camino. So good so far.
