Out of the blue all my apps have stopped working on my 16GB WiFi iPad 1.

They open for a split second then return to the homescreen.

Ive rebooted through iTunes and still nothing.
Any ideas?

All apps crashing

This has happened me too just from today. Any help or feedback greatly appreciated as I'm getting v frustrated!!! Eeek!

Upgrade to iOS version 4.3.1 and you will have a new operating system. If the system is the cause then your problem will be solved.

Did you both update to IOS 4.3.1?

Have you tried to do a restore from a backup?

Have you installed in new apps in the last day or two?

Is your iPad jailbroken?

Just some questions I thought might help narrow things down a bit.

Thanks both, I'm gonna try the upgrade later on and hopefully this will work! Also, iPad not jail broken - too scared!! :D

Took mine to the Genius bar at an apple store (surprisingly packed considering apple products are generally failsafe).

Turns out I may have had a rogue app that crashed when updating it.
I kept kept it when reformatting and using Restore from Backup

So, the solution was to reset it and start it as a new device in iTunes.

Works now, just a shame I lost a few apps, photos and things I hadn't synced
