I have experienced several apps crashing since the upgrade. My NFL Sunday ticket will not stream games and crash, ESPN will crash sometimes, and several other apps.

My screen will constantly adjust brightness on its own. The phone will sometimes freeze in apps and I have to do a hard reboot. iCloud says its constantly restoring and its been more than three days since I upgraded, yes it says this even when connected to wifi over night. I had to go into iTunes and manually transfer my music over to the phone after I stopped the iCloud restore. Siri does not work all the time. When I push the home button Siri opens but nothing happens.

Honestly the list goes on. Has anybody experienced a major FAIL so far with iOS 6? I'm not talking about Passbook or maps, but with the way the phone operates in general?

I keep being told my iTunes Match expired and then my music gets wiped off. Hard reset twice.

I keep getting the pop up prompt to link my phone with Facebook so I can post from the notification center. I've already done that so I don't know why I keep getting that popup.

My brightness has gone bonkers a couple times. I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly the conditions yet. But the screen basically gets stuck in that dim mode, which it normally does just before it sleeps. I have been on the main desktop scrolling through my apps and barely been able to see anything. If I go to Settings and Brightness and simply touch the slider, it immediately jumps back to my brightness setting. And no, I don't have auto brightness turned on.

I've had the brightness go a little wonky a few times.

And one seize-up which happened when phone was locked and an alert came in. Screen went black and had to hard reset to get phone back.

Heavy battery drain when away from WiFi...and I have LTE disabled since it's not yet available in my area.

I'm on iPhone 5. Yeah, there are some issues in iOS 6. Expect 6.1 will come soon.

No problems here overall. Not in the apps or the general operations in the book. Have you considered restoring?

This seems to be the most common issue with my phone. The brightness goes bonkers almost daily. Siri fails to open too almost daily too.

I haven't see any battery issues. However I couldn't connect to wifi for almost a full day after updating the iOS. I hope iOS 6.1 will be a much needed improvement.

I did consider it but I don't feel like messing with iCloud restore again. I guess I could restore with an iTunes backup, we'll see.

Have the apps updated for iOS6 compatibility?

If they don't update their apps, there is the possibility of crashes. This is not on the OS, this is the app developer making sure their apps are fully compatible.

I've had this problem but with EVERY app on my iPhone. It all closes with in a minute of opening.

And when I write an SMS, when trying to write the name auto selection doesn't appear anymore. I must select the recipient manually.

I've experienced all those issues. I use Siri by holding it to my ear, which seems to work about 50% of the time. Brightness does what it wants when it wants. Apps crash. Lots of them, even Tuaw; Amazon, eBay, CraigsList as well. I have always had a Mophie so I just assumed the dead battery by 7pm was normal.

I have the same problems.
Google chrome, eBay, safari, and my screen brightness are all acting weird and crashing..
iPhone 4S 6.1 jailbroken

try downloading BrightnessFix for iOS 6 from ModMyi's repo inside cydia to fix the brightness issue

the crashing...
google chrome crashes if you don't have it set to send anonymous data or whatever that option is (not sure if it has been fixed yet)

the other apps crashing are probably related to the tweaks you have installed

Edit: there appears to be an update to google chrome that fixes the booting up crashing problem
