****ing Apple , soo many apps are crashing , like ones that never did on my 5. Instagram, Facebook, safari, and a host of others. Is this due to crap 1gb of ram or an ios8 glitch?? Anyone having this happen on their 6+?

Did you restore from backup, or set up as new? I had some of those issues restoring from backup. I deleted the app, downloaded it again, and none of them have crashed since.

I have had my 6+ restart on its own 2 times, and a few crashes. I put it down to loading every single app I have bought onto it in one go whilst playing around it with too. Altogether im happy with it though

A lot of these are caused by changes in iOS 8, I just discovered a crasher in my own app today that wasn't there in 7.X but is in 8. Problem is it takes time for developers to fix them and getting approval from Apple is taking way longer than usual. Normally it takes 7-8 days, I submitted my update 15 days ago and it is still not approved (and I'll have to submit another one soon for iPhone 6/6+ layouts as well).

Consider this. There are 1.3 million apps on the App Store. If only 1% of those are submitting iOS 8 updates this month, that is 13,000 apps Apple has to approve, over 400 a day even if they were also working on weekends. Not to mention all the new apps. That's a lot.

i had one hose up so far. I decided to download several albums from icloud to my phone. Phone went to sleep during the process. Hit home button, no response. Hit wake button, no response. Had to do a full reboot. Oddly, all the music downloaded ok.

That's understandable but doesn't explain freeze and crash of safari

I have an issue with only one App crashing and it's not due to iOS8 either as it works fine on both my iPad and previous iPhone 5 w/iOS 8.

This is an iOS 8 issue, not iPhone 6.

Having the same behavior on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.
