Apps disappears

Hi! I bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2 for Christmas upgrading from S6. But I see that apps disappears; for example Weather, Calendar, Stocks and Music when I'm not connected to the iPhone. When connected to the iPhone again it is asking for using the location which is also annoying. It was not like that on my old watch. Is that a new thing or is something wrong with the settings or the cellular connection?

did you restore it from the blackout of your S6?

there are settings to block certain apps from cell (settings app on watch -> cellular). and location services (setting app on watch -> privacy and security -> location"

if you didn't restore from backup, I'd try that first, you can also go though those 2 sections in settings to see if something is disabled.

I updated iOS on the iPhone to latest version and that seems to fix the problem somehow.
