Hi,

First of all, if this thread is under a wrong subcategory, please move it to correct one.
And i know, that this problem has probably been revisited many-many times. but i just didnt find a problem quite similar. or at least a solution to the problem.

but my problem:
i have a wifi router ( buffalo G54 ) creating a wifi network, working flawlessly.
a have a macbook white, running SL 10.6.2, connected to the network created by router, working flawlessly
i have an xbox360, connected to the same wifi router via ethernet cable. connects to internet flawlessly.
i have connect360 program. demo version. as a standalone application, working flawlessly. have also tryed Rivet - the same. not working.

what i dont have, but would very much appreciate to have:
a connection between macbook and xbox360. but for some reason connect360/Rivet does not find my xbox360. and i have a sneaky suspicion that the connection between the two ( which, i by the way had at some point ) was lost while upgrading to a later release of 10.5 and continues to be lost running 10.6

i have searched internet, visited many local forums but no dice. everything works just fine as long as they work alone. but when trying to connect MB and XB - absolutely nothing.

But as i connect XB and MB with a ethernet cable - like a dream. But not excactly a perfect solution.

any ideas?
i love the idea of theoretically having a possibility to stream content via wifi to my xbox but at this point really hate the friggin' hassle.

so any ideas are very much appreciated
