Hi all :)

I currently have my ipad positioned next to my Apple monitor (they look great together) and I realized it would be awesome if I could use it as a secondary screen. I have heard of apps such as air display that lets you mirror it as a secondary monitor.

However, I was wondering if anyone had any cool recommendations for apps that I could leave open next to my Apple monitor. Something such as a clock, weather app or a new app that pulls headlines from the web.

Tell me how you use your iPad as a secondary display please :D

thanks!

I use Windows instead of Mac but I'm in the same situation with my iPad on my desk at work all day. I wanted to use it as a third monitor. I've tried 2 programs. Display link would randomly disconnect so I tried Air display. It was more stable (not perfect though) but will not allow the desktop to run the Aero graphics so I have to put up with it switching to standard mode for it to work.

When it works, it is nice to throw some program over to the iPad to allow you to monitor it.
