Apps for iPhone 5 list.

Is there a list for this somewhere already? I looked but didn't see one. Anyways, we should make a list of all the apps updated for the 5, there's gotta be more then what's in the App Store section.

Chrome and Zillow aren't listed but have been updated.
 
About 40-45 of my apps have been updated, which is about 30% of my apps. So, I'd imagine the full list would likely be tens of thousands of apps long, at least.
 
That's alright. People could just come and post their list. It doesn't have to be all in one post.

This is about 30% of the apps I'm currently using that have been updated.

I get a great laugh from this topic.

Prior to the rumors coming true, Apple's excuse for staying with a 3:5" display was that they didn't want to create extra work for the developers by going to a larger display.

Oops... a Hypocritical turn of events has occured.

Funny how Apple loves being hypocritical.

The point was Extra work BY changing screen resolution, not size.

Going 4:3 to 16:9 doesn't break applications.
Required a customer screen not seen in all the copies.

Hypocrites, continue to say they use products and consistently complain about them.
 
I'm wondering once you download a passbook app how do you find what other apps use passbook?

I think this is a bug. I added a pass from a website (passsource.com) and the link goes away. As of like an hour ago, no apps had been updated. Maybe there will be a section of Passbook apps once it gets bigger in the App store to increase exposure.

All I want is a planet fitness app and the updated Starbucks app. That, along with United and Fandango, is pretty much all I would use from passbook anyway.
 
How do you even use passbook? When I first opened it, it told me to download apps. So I did(Target), but it wasn't in passbook afterwards.
 
I don't think it's quite ready yet, at least that's what I've gathered from reading elsewhere on these forums. You may look in the iOS 6 section and find specific posts regarding passbook for more definitive answers.

From what I read, I assumed that the companies that could utilize passbook just didn't have passes ready to distribute or something along those lines. I'm probably way off here.

With the Target app you have to sign up for their texted coupons. You add those to Passbook. It worked for me, but its not the method I was expecting to add passes. I dislike needing other apps to add passes. I was hoping we'd be able to just scan existing loyalty cards or gift cards into Passbook.

Or worse, it updates but still doesn't accommodate the iPhone 5. :confused:
 
I think it's safe to say that most guys are waiting for the ESPN app to update. I know I am.

Yeah I hope they add a section to the iTunes Store of passbook capable apps or something like how games that has Game Center have a symbol underneath their name

Start passbook, "click" the app store button, takes you to apps for passbook section.
