Are there any apps out there like grooveshark where you type in the song and it plays. Also has the ability to make playlists. Not Internet radio like slacker or pandora.

I'm trying rhapsody right now and its not very good :(

Slacker also lets you play on demand now for $10 a month

MOG for me wins hands down for being able to download and stream at 320 kbps.

I know you said most of them are $10 but Are any if the above apps free?

Nope.

Well, there's usually a 7 day trial.

If/when I jailbreak. Can you stream any music from dtunes? I know its for downloading butI just want to stream.

I second this. Mog has a great iPhone interface, a huge selection of music, good sound quality, and is my primary method of digesting music now. Who needs iTunes Match when you can have unlimited music streaming? You can even download high quality music files to any of your devices running Mog and play them offline; Mog just needs to check at least once a month to make sure you still have a subscription. It's a great music discovery tool as well! I still purchase music, but most of the time I'll do a first listen on Mog to make sure I like it before I buy it.

I'll admit I haven't used MOG yet, but I absolutely love the new Slacker Radio Premium. I'm on my second month of use.

I just use Slacker Premium and skip until I find the specific song I wanted.
