I just replaced my 24" imac with a 27" i5. On my 24" imac for the past year i had been having issues with apps (itunes, mail, etc) giving me the spinning beach ball. Now after doing a complete backup from time machine to the new computer I am getting the same thing. Obviously I have something on the old system that is causing this I just do not know what.
Instead of trying to proceed in diagnosing this, am I better off just starting from scratch with this new computer and transfering/reinstalling programs one by one?
Also, I am detecting a slight yellow tint in the bottom corners of the screen, it almost has the color of old parchment. My 24" had the same issue. Is it pretty much a given that all screens will have this problem?
