So, I've had an iPod Touch for some time now. I have downloaded a number of Apps and even bought one or two. I'm curious if I will be able to use the Apps that I bought for my iPod Touch on my (forthcoming) iPhone without re-purchasing them.

I don't mind un-installing the Apps from the iPod Touch (if necessary), but I'd like to be able to use them on the iPhone without buying them again.

Any insight?

yes is the answer. they are tied to you itunes account. i did the same thing when i moved from a 1st gen ipod touch to the 3g.

btw, sync them off your ipod in to itunes. then plug your phone in and sync them on to your phone.

i would also like to know the same.

edit: again, i spoke too late. thanks for the response jayenh

Apps are like music, you can have them authorized on up to 5 computers and use it on any device that syncs to those computers. So you can have your apps on both devices.

also, you can run apps on both at the same time. it wont remove them and they don't need to be removed to run on the phone.
