Apps installed on iPhone not showing in watch app

I recently got my Apple Watch Series 2 and after setting it up I started to install my apps. However I noticed that many apps in my iPhone that have watch apps aren't showing in the Watch app so I may install them. I tried uninstalling the apps from the iPhone and reinstalling them, but they still didn't show in the Watch app.

For example I have Tinder on my iPhone but it doesn't show in the Watch app to install it.

My phone is running 10.0.1.

Any ideas?

Watch app: General Auto App Install switched on?

If so have your tried restarting both devices?

If so have you tried un-paring and re-paring?

It's off. I did restart them both and unparing. But looks like the problem is the Watch app on the iPhone that's not registering the other apps.
