I’ve discovered my first Apple Watch annoyance.

Turns out, iPhone apps with Apple Watch extensions automatically install their extension on the watch whenever they are updated through the iPhone App Store, regardless of whether the Apple Watch app preferences specifically forbid this.

This happened yesterday, when the Evernote iPhone app was updated, and again today when the Amazon iPhone app was updated.

Grrrr.

It's so easy to remove it from the watch. Shouldn't be a big deal.
