I installed WhatsApp and Spotify on my nieces iPhone running iOS 26 (helped my sister) and her phone is restricted to 9+ so it had to ask for permission as it should to install it.
Anyway, she can use those apps for a bit and suddenly they disappear from her home screen. There is no screen time limit set for those apps.
Sometimes when I return to the home screen, I can see those apps actually flicker in and out for a split second, which makes me believe it's some kind of bug on iOS 26.
Now my sister wrote me those apps have disappeared again and a short while later, they have appeared again without her changing anything
