For a while now I've been having problems with mail.app and Newsfire hiding when I log in. I've checked the box in System Prefs to have it open and to hide, but no dice. Does mail just not stay hidden upon logging in, or might some of my extensions/plug-ins be giving it problems? I use mail.appetizer, BTW.

Thanks in advance.

same problem here

Yea I've had the same problem. I don't know what it is. I suppose it may be a bug in OSX Tigger. I've posted this same question on macosxhints forum and hoping to get a solution from a mac genius

In searching for another solution, I ran across this thread that I started. I never found a solution for this problem. I have both of them checked to "hide" at log-in, and I'm still getting no help. It's not a HUGE deal b/c I rarely restart, but it's still annoying having to hide them later if I'm not using them.
