More frustration with the Watch app (running 6.0.1). I've deleted an app ON the watch itself (swipe left, tap delete) ... go to my Watch app, of course that same app is still sitting in there. It thinks it's still installed on my watch. I've tried uninstalling in the app but it just seems to hang up on the "Uninstalling" and nothing happens. Really frustrating.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've had my watch for 3 weeks now and I really like it. I don't seem to have any glitches/bugs with the watch itself - any issues I've had (and still have) are in the Watch App!

Anyone else??

I had the same issue with Nike run club. In my case, on my IPHONE I had turned off in the app restrictions the ability to remove apps. And that had carried over to the watch. If you’ve done the same, that might be happening to you. Once I turned that back on on the phone, I was able to delete run club from the watch.

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t see any settings like that anywhere. Can you point me to where you found that?

Settings- screen time- content and privacy restrictions- iTunes and App Store purchases- deleting apps.

Mine was already set to “Allow” ...and the rogue app is still in there 😏

Is the app still installed on your phone as a phone app? If it is, it will continue to show in the Watch app but give you the further option to install it on the watch, which looks like what you got going on here. It’s not installed on your watch. It’s just letting you know that you got the app on your phone and it’s available to install on the watch if you want it.
Uninstall the phone app and see if that removes it from the watch app.

Uninstalling the phone app was the first thing I did!

Did I do something out of order?

Not that I can say. When I want to delete a watch app, I just delete the whole app from the phone and it automatically removes it from the watch. If I want to delete the watch portion of the app but leave it on the phone, I do what you did by swiping and then hitting the delete button. Since the main app is still on the phone, the watch app will show in the list, but it will have an install button to the side like in your pic above. It’s just a reminder that it offers a watch app, but not necessarily installed on the watch.

You did try a watch reboot, right?

I ended up unpairing and re-pairing and that got rid of it. I really didn’t wanna do that, but it was the only thing left that I could think of.
